How the Universal Methods works
The Universal Method guides a person to:
- Distinguish certain of their brain’s automatic intuitive reasoning processes (AIRPs) as counterproductive brain patterns or internal self-barriers that impede them from taking productive actions towards personally meaningful objectives or experiencing life the way they want
- Apply their effortful deliberate reasoning processes (EDRPs) to “rewire” counterproductive AIRPS and develop new productive AIRPs
With training and practice, this enables a person to enhance their pro-social and health behaviors, improve their ability to direct their time and attention towards personal goals that are truly meaningful rather the many other things they spend time on, and ultimately, understand and realize their true potential.
In simple terms, this means that a person can empower themself to choose what happens next rather than being limited by their brain’s automatic responses.
